International Trade and Logistics Department Program Learning Outcomes

1. To be able to know the basic concepts in the field of international trade and logistics, business and economics, to be able to relate these concepts to other concepts, and to be able to convey their thoughts in written or oral form.

2. Gains the ability to have the knowledge, equipment and communication skills to work in the international arena and can set goals and objectives for the organization with these skills.

3. Define problems, collect necessary data, interpret, evaluate and analyze data, conduct a research independently and develop evidence-based solutions by using advanced knowledge and skills acquired in the field of international trade and logistics.

4. Have knowledge about global economies, international common markets and international organizations.

5. Have knowledge about trade policies and practices of countries.

6. Have a command of supply chain and production processes and develop solutions by critically evaluating problems from this perspective.

7. Uses his/her knowledge on foreign trade legislation, customs clearance, stock management and storage effectively in business life by acting with the awareness of environmental protection and occupational health and safety.

8. Have knowledge about global movements of goods, services and money, the actors that carry out them and the international systems that regulate them.

9. Uses information technologies effectively, updates his/her knowledge by following technological developments in his/her field.

10. Acts in accordance with social, scientific, cultural and ethical values, takes responsibility as an individual and team member in projects.

11. Have theoretical and practical knowledge about the establishment and functioning of international trade enterprises.

12. Analyze the trade and logistics practices of the institutions where they receive vocational training and provide feedback.*
